Privacy policy
Parley is made by Pagar Privado. This page says what the app stores, where, and how to remove it.
What is stored
- Your Google account's email, name and ID, received when you sign in with Google, to keep your data with your account.
- Your chats and settings: contacts, messages, the languages you practice, your name, interests, notes and what contacts remember about you. They are saved on Parley's server so they follow you to other devices.
- Usage counts: how many replies you received each day, for the daily allowance.
- Subscription status, with a Google Play purchase token or a Stripe customer ID when you subscribe to Parley Plus. Parley never sees your card details; Google Play or Stripe handles payment.
Who processes it
- DeepSeek generates contacts' replies. The messages of the chat you are in are sent to it for that; it is not asked to keep them.
- Google: sign-in, Play Billing, and the free translate and speech services your phone uses for word meanings and dictation. Audio from dictation is processed by your phone's speech service, not by Parley's server.
- Stripe for subscriptions bought outside Google Play.
- Railway hosts the server and database.
Parley does not sell your data, show ads, or share your data for advertising.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings → Account → Delete account removes everything stored for you on the server and on the phone, right away. See delete account for the steps without the app.
Children
Parley is for people aged 13 and over.
